In the Ramayana, Rama and Sita are the axis around which order holds.

Surrounded by forest, animal life, and flowering forms, Rama and Sita stand within the living world they are sworn to protect. This carving reflects the Balinese understanding of dharma not as conquest, but as alignment: humans, nature, and the unseen moving as one. The deer at their side bears witness while the surrounding forests holds the lovers in eternity.

In a story of journey, exile, and return, the lovers find a moment of stillness and belonging.

In this form, the Singha lifts one paw from the ground. In Balinese iconography, a raised limb signals alertness at the edge of action. The guardian has noticed something. He has not yet chosen force or welcome. It is a pause charged with awareness.

The raised paw marks the Singha as an active sentinel: one who can intervene, but does not rush to do so. Protection here is measured, intentional, and awake.

In Balinese tradition, the Singha is stationed where worlds meet: temple gates, courtyard edges, the space between sacred and everyday.

Here, the Singha stands fully grounded, all four feet planted. This stance represents endurance, the long watch kept over time.

This Singha guards through unwavering presence, a reminder that many dangers never arrive because vigilance never wavers.

Crocodile Wood

This depiction draws from the Ramayana episode in which Hanuman races to save Lakshmana by carrying the Sanjivani-bearing mountain.

Hanuman kneels even as he bears the immense weight: a visual paradox that emphasizes humility within power. The mountain represents responsibility strength deployed in service of life.

In Balinese Hindu tradition, Hanuman is often represented in white, a color associated with purity of intention, spiritual clarity, and unwavering loyalty, all qualities embodied in this moment of selfless action.

This collection gives life to Hanuman through devotion made kinetic. Across Hindu epic tradition, Hanuman is shown in motion, leaping oceans, carrying mountains, crossing worlds to protect life and uphold dharma.

This figure captures Hanuman in the instant before flight, recalling his legendary leap across the ocean to Lanka in service of Rama.

His coiled stance and lifted chest communicate contained momentum, pure devotion gathering force before release. This is the threshold moment where faith overcomes distance, fear, and physical limitation.

Here, the motion itself becomes meaning, his leap an expression of certainty. When action is aligned with dharma, even the vast becomes traversable.

In Balinese culture, Barong is a living guardian spirit. Barong represents cosmic balance, the force that keeps the world from tipping too far in any one direction. Barong appears in ritual moments when equilibrium is threatened, holding the darkness in relationship with order.

This is why Barong stands at thresholds - between fear and laughter, chaos and structure, the visible and unseen. This collection honors Barong in his essential role: alert, animated, and present wherever balance must be actively maintained.

He keeps the darkness from becoming absolute, living in tension with it, and maintaining the balance that gives order to the universe.

In Hindu and Balinese tradition, Garuda is the embodiment of duty carried into motion, upholding dharma by carrying what must endure.

Born a powerful, mythical being, Garuda earns his place through loyalty and sacrifice. In the Ramayana and later Hindu cosmology, Garuda becomes the vehicle of Wisnu, his chosen ally. Together they move between realms, sustaining the moral order that connects heaven and earth.

Garuda represents dharma in action: responsibility made visible, ethics expressed through movement. His travels bear the weight of cosmic balance across worlds.

This collection honors Garuda as a force of connection: between realms, between ideals and action, between what is believed and what is done.
